Equipment Breakdown Carrier Change Information - Effective 7/1/2009
The Colorado School Districts Self Insurance Pool is pleased to announce that the Continental Casualty Company (CNA) successfully bid to be the Equipment Breakdown Carrier for the 2009-2010 policy term. CNA replaces Hartford Steam Boiler as the Equipment Breakdown Carrier and has agreed to continue to provide a very comprehensive coverage form.
CNA Risk Control Consultants will be providing the State required jurisdictional inspections starting July 1, 2009. They will be concentrating on those Members who have overdue inspections and will contact you to schedule inspections as they come due. Colorado School Districts Self Insurance Pool will still function as your primary contact to report claims. We will coordinate with the CNA claims staff to initiate the investigation and resolution of your claim. If you have a pending claim with Hartford Steam Boiler, they and we will continue to work with you through resolution.
