Wayne Brown Memorial Pool Education Fund

The Pool lost a valuable friend on September 24th, 2003 with the passing of Dr. Wayne W. (Bill) Brown Jr., retired Superintendent of Holyoke School District.  Bill had served on our Board since 1990 and we were shocked and saddened by his untimely passing.  We will remember him fondly as someone who was a strong supporter of the Pool, a prankster, for his laugh (often heard during our meetings) and smile. 

In honor of Bill, we have renamed our Pool scholarship fund the Wayne Brown Memorial Pool Education Fund.  This fund provides opportunities for Members to submit requests for covering partial or full costs to employees for furthering their Risk Management knowledge.
